Evelyn Brandt Thomas has spent her life and is still today proving that age is just a mindset and that life is filled with endless possibilities. This self-proclaimed “queen of fertilizer,” at 100 years old, is the co-founder of Brandt, an agricultural company.

Evelyn and her brother grew up on a farm, and at a young age decided they wanted to take what they learned on the farm and make a difference in the agriculture industry. Initially, they sold fertilizer to farmers in their area.

Today, more than 70 years later, their company sells globally, operating over 170 locations in more than 81 countries. Evelyn is still active in the company. Her office is located close to the entrance of their office building. She says that interacting with the people who walk through the doors is her therapy.

Evelyn has spent her life and continues to give back to her community as a philanthropist and volunteer. She inspires young people to “set a goal and go for it,” by offering scholarships for higher education.

When asked, Evelyn states that the sky’s the limit on what her company has yet to accomplish. And with Evelyn involved you can assure her continued hard work and perseverance will get them there. That’s what we call living at 100% for 100 years or more.
