Originally from Mars, PA, (just north of Pittsburgh, PA) Dr. Darrell attended and graduated Cum Laude from Allegheny College with a bachelor's degree in Biology. While in college, he was on the football, cross-country, and track teams, and held the captain position for both cross-country and track. Dr. Darrell and chiropractic were a perfect fit from a young age. He received chiropractic care since the age of 16, and noticed that his overall health was always at its optimum, which helped him to excel at his athletic endeavors.

Upon graduation from Allegheny, Dr. Darrell moved to Seneca Falls, NY in 2003 to study chiropractic. He again graduated Cum Laude, this time from the intensive program at New York Chiropractic College. During his time at NYCC, Dr. Darrell became very involved with the Sports Science and Human Performance Club, where he held the position as president. SSHP's main objective was to travel to different sporting events, intercollegiate or open road races, track meets, crew events, and triathlons to adjust the participants and to teach how beneficial chiropractic can be for the athletes. Dr. Darrell also had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including Monroe Community Hospital, a multi-disciplinary clinic in a rural setting, and an outreach clinic for those less fortunate.

Dr. Gretchen grew up in Owego, NY. She graduated Cum Laude from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in Biology. Also a strong athlete, Dr. Gretchen played field hockey where she was a 4 time All-American at Mansfield. Throughout her athletic career, she was always fascinated by the human body and how it moved, functioned, and healed, which made chiropractic a perfect fit for her.

Dr. Gretchen moved to Seneca Falls, NY in 2003, where she met Dr. Darrell. She graduated Cum Laude from NYCC, and while there, she was also very involved with SSHP, where her love for athletics and chiropractic were able to come together. Dr. Gretchen also worked at Monroe Community Hospital and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, where she was able to provide chiropractic care to the veterans in the community.
